Lake Las Vegas entertains brokers

Lake Las Vegas Resort recently hosted more than 100 realty agents as part of the community's Premiere Brokers event.

R.F. Boeddeker, developer of Lake Las Vegas Resort, provided an overview of the community, including the recently opened Falls Golf Club, as well as the Ritz-Carlton hotel and MonteLago Village, both scheduled to open early next year.

Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing, emphasized that communication between the resort and the broker community is a top priority and that working with one another is the key to mutual success. He announced that the resort has opened an office inside the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort, exclusively for brokers to display listings at no cost.

It was also noted that brokers may participate in an incentive program for referrals to the community with prizes that include getaways to the resort's Hyatt Regency and Ritz-Carlton hotels.

The guest speaker was Richard Lee, vice president and director of public relations for First American Title Co. He discussed the resort's impact on the growth of Southern Nevada.

Shelly Smith, broker liaison, was introduced to attendees, which included a number of builders active at the resort.

Lake Las Vegas Resort, a 2,600-acre community, is situated on a privately owned, 320-acre lake in Henderson. It offers luxury residential developments in addition to world-class hotels, golf, shopping and spas.
