Pulte Homes recognized by national publication
Professional Builder Magazine named Pulte Homes "Builder of the Year 2002," a corporate award bestowed upon businesses in the construction industry. The magazine's editorial board unanimously chose Pulte based on factors such as the builder's Homeowner for Life strategy, its recent merger with the Del Webb Corp., and its e-business strategies and use of technology. The company's Las Vegas Division has the distinction of ranking highest in overall customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2001 New Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study. J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing firm, and its study is based on responses from 45,217 buyers of newly constructed homes in 10 U.S. markets. The Las Vegas market covers Clark County. Southwest Region president Steve Petruska credits the division's commitment to customer satisfaction. "We believe the many honors we've received are testaments to our local Pulte team, our contractors and the customer care we give our homeowners," he said. A formal presentation of the Builder of the Year award will occur Feb. 9 at the National Association of Home Builders Convention and Exposition in Atlanta. Pulte Homes offers 12 active subdivisions in Southern Nevada.
