C2 Lofts in Summerlin's first of two buildings is nearly sold out, according to Sommer Jandula, Christopher Homes sales agent.

The mid-rise will feature 100 lofts in two five-story buildings with landscaped grounds, rooftop gardens and double-gated access. On-site retail outlets such as a coffee shop and deli are planned for the first floor.
Located within a mile of the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, in Summerlin Centre, the condominium complex's trail system will link to nearby parks and future attractions such as The Shops at Summerlin indoor mall and The Central Park, a mix of high-end retail shops, recreational amenities and entertainment venues.
Private tours of the units and the grounds are available, according to Jandula. "The views of Red Rock Canyon and the city -- even the view of the surrounding area -- is something people have to experience for themselves."
Vice president of marketing Erika Geiser said the lofts' openness and high ceilings allow residents to use interior areas in a variety of ways.
"There are no doors closing it all off into compartmentalized spaces," she said.
"You can make any room anything you want. There are just so many more ways to use the interior space than in a traditional home or condominium."
Front entries are accessed from the breezeway, a central atrium accented by bamboo plantings and natural lighting.
The builder is offering a December special on two single-story, 1,530 square-foot Lace floor plans,. The units feature a 152-square-foot covered terrace and are located in the first building.
According to Jandula, the builder will give home buyers a package of upgrades at no extra charge.
The lofts are priced from the upper $600,000s, with one unit offering views of Red Rock National Conservation Area and the other overlooking the city. Other available lofts offer views to the south and north. There are corner units with multiple views. All residents will have access to a rooftop garden, which feature a panorama of the mountain and cityscape.
The project's eight designs range from 1,530 to up to 2,800 square feet.
The architectural design features minimalist styling highlighted by exposed ductwork, expansive windows and ceiling heights from 10 to 12 feet in the single-story lofts and 20 feet in two-story lofts. Each loft also will have a private outdoor terrace.
Each loft unit includes such standard amenities as stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops and Kohler plumbing fixtures.
Buyers may customize the lofts' living areas with fireplaces, brick wall treatments and various flooring and stone countertop options.
Each buyer receives a consultation with a C2 Lofts Design Center professional to help create interior design features.
A range of on-site amenities in the development will include a heated pool, two spas; fitness center, private enclosed parking garage and retail shops on the main level.
Each of the loft buildings feature a landscaped roof garden with fire pit, fireplace, barbecues and lounging area.
An executive golf club membership to Red Rock Country Club is included with each purchase of a loft, according to Jandula.
The membership which will entitle residents to year-round use of the golf courses, as well as the clubhouse, sports club, tennis, and swimming facilities.
The Preview Center is located in the Best Buy/Costco shopping center, near the northeast corner of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and West Charleston Boulevard.
The center house is a professionally decorated and furnished modeled loft.

Christopher Homes has announced it will build a sister project, C2 Lofts Upper West Side in the northwest valley, near U.S. Highway 95 and West Lake Mead Boulevard. The new development will be centered by a Main Street with loft residences located above upscale retail shops, restaurants and offices.
Proposed amenities will include an 18,000-square-foot Lifestyle Building, which will house a resort-style swimming pool, spas and water features, a fitness center, treatment rooms, a juice bar, theater, TV room, business center and concierge services.
Prices are anticipated to start in the low $400,000s and an interest list is being formulated at the C2 Lofts Web site.
