William Lyon Homes announces new incentive at The Cottages

William Lyon Homes is offering a $28,000 incentive plus appliances to buyers who purchase homes under construction at The Cottages at Centennial Ranch, according to sales agent Rosie Bennett. The gated community of two-story homes is located in North Las Vegas.

Under the program, buyers who qualify and use the builder's preferred lender receive funds to use toward closing costs or upgrades. They also receive a washer, dryer, refrigerator and microwave. Certain restrictions apply.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to save a large sum of money on our homes that have been released for sale. They'll be ready at the end of this month and into early January, so there's no time to wait," Bennett said. "It's extremely rare for single-family homes in this price range to carry the kind of incentive we're offering. Buyers are responding in a big way."

According to Bennett, several homes have already sold under the new incentive.

"Buyers were ecstatic when we announced the incentive. We sold several homes in the program's first week and fully expect the momentum to continue," she said. "People love that they can physically tour the homes they're considering. Floor plans and model homes are very useful, but there's nothing better than stepping foot in the real thing."

To take advantage of the incentive, buyers can select from four two-story floor plans ranging from 1,335 to 1,776 square feet. Plans One, Two and Three offer three bedrooms and 21/2 baths; Plan Four has four bedrooms and 21/2 baths. All of the home designs feature a two-car garage. Standard architectural highlights include second-floor interior laundries, walk-in closets in all master suites and dual sinks in all master baths. Some floor plans include a covered front porch, kitchen pantry, multiple linen closets and extra storage space under the stairs.

"All of our homes have beautiful granite countertops and nicely upgraded kitchen cabinets. Those are just a few of the special touches buyers will discover when they visit," Bennett said. "People appreciate that we designed the interiors, removing the overwhelming part for them. They simply need to select appliances and start packing. We handle the rest."

Front-yard landscaping is maintained by the community association.

Homeowners are responsible for their private backyards. Colored concrete pavers accent all driveways and auto courts.

"Buyers are so pleased when they see our innovative designs and the charming setting. People tell us our current incentive is almost impossible to fathom given our already affordable prices," Bennett said. "This offer certainly won't be around for long. Buyers should make time in their schedules to visit us as soon as possible."

Upon completion, The Cottages will feature a centrally located private park.

Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.

The sales center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Mondays, when it opens at noon.

To visit, take Interstate-15 north to Craig Road, proceed west on Craig to Losee Road. Turn right on Losee, left on Centennial Parkway and left on Bruce Street.
