Southern Highlands gives nod to Cox

Southern Highlands has named Cox Communications a preferred provider for communications services including high-speed Internet, digital cable and high definition television at the southwestern valley community.

"The community is truly exceptional, and we look forward to providing our wide range of technology products to residents," Cox executive Fritz Hoehne said, adding that the entire community will support a fiber-optic communications network.

Custom-home neighborhoods are to open to buyers, as is The Villages at Southern Highlands, which is comprised of more than 20 neighborhoods. Homes in The Villages are priced from the $140,000s to the $400,000s.

Model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs.
