Pardee assisting Shade Tree
A promotion to benefit The Shade Tree Shelter continues throughout the month at Pardee Homes' Fiesta neighborhood in North Las Vegas, according to sales director Rob Tuvell. "For every home sold in Fiesta this month, Pardee will donate $500 to The Shade Tree Shelter for homeless women and their children. Pardee has marked the past eight holiday seasons by donating thousands of dollars to the shelter from home sales in ... neighborhoods like Fiesta," Tuvell said. Upon completion, the neighborhood will have 138 single-story homes. Tuvell said the homes are a "great value" because of their location and the Energy Star label signifying that they are at least 30 percent more energy efficient than standard homes. Each comes with spectrally selective window glass that keeps out about 75 percent of ultraviolet rays, saving energy and preventing fabric fade, and sealed air ducts that allow heating and cooling systems to work more efficiently. Measuring 1,383 square feet, Plan One has three bedrooms, or two bedrooms and a den, two baths and a two-car garage. It is priced from $146,450. The Plan Two features three bedrooms, two baths and a two- or three-car garage in one configuration measuring 1,593 square feet and priced from $156,950. An alternate design includes a family room, and optional nursery or retreat. It is priced from $166,950. Plan Three has three bedrooms, two baths and a two- or three-car garage in one design measuring 1,836 square feet and priced from $172,950. Another configuration offers an extra bedroom, den option and two-car garage in 1,986 square feet. It is priced from $181,450. Measuring 2,315 square feet, Plan Four features four bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage. A den and powder room are optional. The home is priced from $191,950. All homes include a laundry room and options such as secondary suites, dens or nurserys. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Craig Road, go west to Allen Lane, and then head north 1 1/4 miles. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m. Those wishing to make donations to Shade Tree may bring them to any of the builder's sales centers. Donations may include personal hygiene items, washcloths, towels, paper products, bus tokens, postage stamps, new children's shoes and women's white socks. Pardee has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
