Realtor buys into learning center

The fourth Kids `R' Kids Quality Learning Center franchise has opened in the Las Vegas area.

Jack Woodcock, co-owner of Prudential-Americana Group Realtors in Las Vegas, and his family marked the grand opening Thursday of their new facility. Special guests included U.S. Sen. John Ensign and other dignitaries.

The center is located at 2830 S. Cimarron Road, between Sahara Avenue and Desert Inn Road, and accommodates those age 6 weeks through 12 years.

It has 11 classrooms, commercial kitchen and four outdoor play areas. A bus transports children age 5 to 12 to and from local elementary schools for the before- and after-school program. A secure Internet site allows parents to "see" their children while they are at the center.

The center is open for enrollment.
