The 2,428-square-foot Destiny includes three bedrooms and 21/2 baths and can be expanded to 2,963 square feet with options of a den, study, extended master bedroom and bonus room. It is priced from $465,950.

The Lotus, a 1,718-square-foot one-story model offers two bedrooms and a den or three bedrooms and two baths. It is priced from $419,950.

Stone and slate placed on the front and in the entry doorways of residences at the neighborhood are popular with home buyers.

"People love the stone," said Lisa Charleston, sales consultant at Fusion, adding that the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design has proven to be an innovative addition to the home building industry. "They want something completely different with their home and they're finding that at Fusion."

Other touches at Day Dawn Fusion include slab granite countertops and black two-compartment granite sinks; Asian-influenced lighting; oil-rubbed door hardware and plumbing; black granite sinks; hand-crafted stained and insulated Therma-Tru front entry doors with colored leaded glass; security system pre-wiring and front and backyard upgraded landscaping.

The builder has a total of 144 new plans available at the neighborhood. Pool-sized lots are available on select plans in the 57-lot community.

Standard amenities include Energy Star certification with an upgraded 13 SEER air conditioning system, Honeywell programmable thermostat with electronic zone control; low-e tinted windows with bronze anodized aluminum frames; R-38 ceiling insulation; cellulose insulation up to R-23 in selected areas and quick-recovery 40-gallon A.O. Smith gas hot water heaters.

Options include open web metal truss ceiling system; and radiant barrier sheeting insulation; grand terraces; patios and balconies; and motor courtyards which can be used for outdoor living space.

The neighborhood features a Zen motif with a black wrought-iron Asian themed double-gate entry. The entrance will include twisted junipers and bamboo plants and screens with pagodas, water features and a paved entry.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, north to Cheyenne Avenue and go east; then go left on Fort Apache to Alexander where the sales trailer is situated on the northeast corner.

The sales office and models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
