Couple finds ideal location in The Residences at MGM
Frequent Las Vegas visitors Max and Jean Graves found their second home at The Residences at MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. A joint venture between MGM/Mirage and developer Turnberry Ltd., The Residences is a high-rise condominium hotel located at the northeast end of MGM Grand's property.
"We had an apartment in Las Vegas for a time but that did not work out," said Jean, who lives in Phoenix, Ariz., with her husband. "Driving in the Las Vegas traffic is a problem for us. The Residences being attached to the MGM Grand on the Strip is a real plus for us. The location is perfect for enjoying dining out, shows, concerts and sporting events."

The Graves purchased a one-bedroom condominium in Tower A on the 37th floor and stay in their unit about once a month.
"Our five children and their families enjoy the convenience of the condo for spur of the moment weekends," Jean said. "Everything at The Residences is top-of-the-line. We never even considered purchasing anywhere else."
Towers One and Two are complete, and Tower Three is slated for completion in spring 2007. Studio, one- and two-bedroom suites are available in Tower Three. Prices range from $650,000 to more than $2.5 million.
All suites are designer furnished and outfitted with crown moldings, raised-panel wood doors, wall-to-wall bedroom carpeting, high-speed voice/data connectivity, granite countertops, imported Italian kitchen cabinetry by Snaidero and private owners' closets for added storage.
Additional highlights include sub-zero refrigeration, Miele appliances, baths with spas and flat screen HDTVs.
Highlights include MGM Grand's 171,000-square-foot casino, an outdoor pool complex with five swimming pools and private cabanas. In addition, The Residences Grand Spa features 30 treatment rooms.
Each of the three 40-story towers will feature 24-hour front desk and concierge services, in-suite dining and a guarded security entrance.
Exclusive resident amenities also include fully equipped fitness centers within the towers, and a variety of signature and casual restaurants featuring chefs, shopping outlets, and entertainment, including Cirque du Soleil's newest Las Vegas show, KÀ.
The 6,000-square-foot sales and information office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in MGM Grand's Studio Walk.
