CityMark Development's new residential address, juhl in downtown Las Vegas, continues to demonstrate its support for the revitalization of downtown Las Vegas with its sponsorship of two major events this season. The 20th Annual Downtown Hoedown on Nov. 29 and the 2006 Las Vegas Marathon slated for Dec. 10, prove the builder's commitment to the future of Las Vegas, according to Rich Gustafson, president of the developer.

"As excitement about the growth of downtown escalates, we want to show our dedication to the future of this city, not only with our efforts to create the most exciting new residential development in urban Las Vegas, but to the people who live here," Gustafson said. "By getting involved in the Hoedown and the Marathon, we are supporting both the established and new traditions of Las Vegas and the events that bring residents together."

The Annual Downtown Hoedown is a free event that brings national country-style talent to Fremont Street and includes performances by four headliners on two stages. The Las Vegas Marathon, in its second year, was voted the best live sporting event by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The race includes a half marathon and features a flat course along the neon corridor of the Las Vegas Strip, a run through a wedding chapel and more than 30 running Elvis Presley impersonators.

Under construction at the corner of Bonneville Avenue and Fourth Street, juhl will rise from six to 15 stories high with exposed mechanical and concrete surfaces. A glass-enclosed lobby will lead residents into residential buildings of varying heights and facades.

Priced from the $300,000s, residences will range from 700 to 2,200 square feet with warehouse lofts, mid-rise and high-rise lofts, townhouses, flats and penthouses in more than 100 floor plans. Additionally, the loft units offer 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows onto city views, private patios or balconies. Standard features include energy-efficient air conditioning and forced air heating, high-speed Internet access, designer-selected Grohe chrome plumbing fixtures, kitchens with granite slab countertops, center islands, maple cabinetry and stainless steel General Electric appliances.

Additional amenities will include a two-story fitness center, a landscaped rooftop with a 75-foot pool, spa and a 9th-floor viewing deck. The development will include secured multi-level parking, 24-hour security and 24,000 square feet of retail space.

To visit the Information Studio from Interstate 15, exit Charleston Boulevard and head east; turn left on Grand Central Parkway; turn right on Bonneville Avenue to 255 E. Bonneville Ave. The studio is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except on Monday when it opens at noon. For more information, visit www.juhl-lv.com.
