Turnberry West Tower surpasses new height

Luxury high-rise condominium Turnberry Towers' West Tower has passed the 20th floor and is slated for completion in spring 2008.

Designed by Robert M. Swedroe Architects and planners, Turnberry Towers began construction on its East Tower last June with completion slated for mid-2007.

The one- to three-bedroom residences within the 10-acre gated development are designed with contemporary finishes, featuring Italian marble baths and Jacuzzi whirlpool tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, General Electric Monogram appliances and 9-foot ceilings.

Two 45-story towers are comprised of 318 residences each, with units ranging from $550,000 to more than $1.3 million.

This is the third high-rise project of this scale by Las Vegas developer Turnberry, Ltd. The company debuted Turnberry Place in 1999 and The Residences at MGM Grand, a joint venture with MGM Mirage in 2004.

"We have had tremendous success with sales for our high-rise condominium communities, as a result, we see quality high-rise residential developments playing a large role in the future of real estate in Las Vegas," said John Riordan, Turnberry senior vice president. "Most of our purchasers do their homework and learn that Turnberry has been building high-rise resort communities for 40 years. They feel confident knowing they are working with an experienced developer that pioneered the high-rise boom in Las Vegas with Turnberry Place."

Buyers within the luxury project will receive a Stirling Club membership for two years, which includes monthly dues. The Stirling Club is an 80,000-square-foot private club at Turnberry Place, featuring casual and fine dining, a 30,000-square-foot European spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a virtual system, a Pilates studio, beauty salon, Jacuzzis, saunas, steam baths and an indoor lap pool.

Each tower will include a fitness facility, outdoor pool with sundeck, landscaping, tennis, valet and 24-hour security.

A 1,658-square-foot, fully furnished model suite is on display in the sales office at 222 Karen Ave. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information, call 732-9797 or visit www.turnberrytowers.com.
