The festival will feature holiday décor, activities for children, crafts, photos with Santa Claus and a gingerbread house raffle. Proceeds from the sale of photos, activities, craft sales and refreshments will benefit the Henderson Allied Community Advocates (HACA).
The local nonprofit organization intervenes with families to impact poverty, prevent homelessness and change lives. The organization, which was founded in 1991, serves more than 1,800 families annually.
The event is hosted by Summerlin and three of its home builders: Engle Homes, KB Home and Richmond American Homes.
The 600-plus home neighborhood offers 17 floor plans that range from 1,642 to 2,804 square feet. Prices start in the low $300,000s.
The Mesa Village is a 500-acre residential village that is the most southern Summerlin village developed to date and features a desert contemporary architectural style. Village and neighborhood entry monuments are accented with stonework and back-lit metal signs set against dramatic color hues. Streets are lined with desert trees and flowering bushes in keeping with the natural beauty of the area which neighbors the Spring Mountains.
Developed by The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties Inc., Summerlin began to take shape in 1990 and by 1992, ranked as the country's best-selling master-planned community, a distinction it held for a decade. Summerlin is a 22,500-acre property located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley.
The community features an unparalleled number of amenities and is currently home to more than 93,000 residents. With about 7,500 acres still to develop, including its urban core, Summerlin Centre, Summerlin is continuing to unfold as the country's premier master-planned community.
Summerlin is also home to more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 120 completed miles of the Summerlin Trail System, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and more than 80 model homes.
Homes are available in a variety of styles. Prices range from the mid-$200,000s to more than $2 million.
Custom home sites in The Ridges are priced from the $500,000s.
