Custom options allow buyers to add personal touch at Red Rock
With 15 floor plans and numerous customizing options, home buyers will find something to suit their needs at the guard-gated Red Rock Country Club, according to Kevin Stall, vice president of sales for the community in Summerlin. Among the more popular collections, he said, is the Acacia series. "Featuring two single-story homes, the Acacia plans are both spacious and functional, and with the variety of options available, home buyers have the opportunity to customize the base plans to their needs," Stall said. The Acacia 1100 measures 2,324 square feet with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The foyer leads to a great room with a fireplace, media niche and optional wet bar. The kitchen has a pantry, optional wine rack in the island, and a morning room with additional cabinets or a desk. Other features include a master bedroom with an optional fireplace, a laundry room, courtyard entry, and two-car garage with optional extensions and golf cart storage. The home is priced from $336,300. At 2,503 square feet, the Acacia 1102 provides three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. From the entry courtyard, the home opens to a foyer, which leads to the dining room, living room with optional fireplace, and kitchen with dining bar and nook. The family room features a fireplace, media niche and optional wet bar. Also, the home has a master bedroom with walk-in closet and optional fireplace, a laundry room, covered patio, and two-car garage with golf cart storage. It is priced from $354,900. Options include guest houses, courtyard fireplaces, sit-down wet bars, and master bedroom retreats with media niches and fireplaces. Additionally, homes may be customized through the developer's Sunsation program. "Many of our buyers want a custom-home experience but they don't know where to begin. Through the Sunsation program, we capture the best features of an already existing home design and then we incorporate the buyers' personal touches," Stall said. "By simplifying the customization process, we give our buyers the flexibility to make alterations that fit their lifestyles. Most of our buyers come to us with very specific ideas of what they want. We take those ideas and make them reality." Sunrise Colony Co. is developing the 738-acre community, which will comprise 1,116 homes. The one- and two-story designs measure from 2,300 to more than 5,300 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages. Homes are priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million. One of two planned 18-hole golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer is open, as is a practice facility. The sports club provides exercise equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, massage therapy rooms, locker rooms and a supervised children's play center. A clubhouse, tennis center and an aquatic center are also featured. To visit, take Sahara Avenue west past Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and head west. Models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
