-- The Clark County School District has purchased the former Kidd Marshmallow facility, a 118,000-square-foot building on 18.5 acres at 1180 Marshmallow Lane in Henderson. Colliers International's Dan Doherty, Brian Pankratz and Jennifer Kilpatrick represented the seller, Kraft Foods North America, in the $5.35 million transaction. Dale Scheideman, director of planning and engineering services for the school district, said the building will be renovated to house the district's maintenance and operations groups, with partial completion expected next fall.

-- Larry Singer of Coldwell Banker Commercial ETN represented the Clark County School District in its 48-month lease of 8,820 square feet at 333 S. Sixth St. from Hunterton & Associates, represented by David Scherer of Grubb & Ellis, for $910,224.

-- Centex Homes donated 160 turkeys valued at $2,500 to St. Vincent's Shelter to help feed the homeless for Thanksgiving. The builder has eight neighborhoods under development valleywide.

-- David Fordham of Re/Max Absolute represented Cohen Medical Corp. in its sale of 6,960 square feet at 3663 Polaris Ave. to Yvonne Lee, represented by Cliff Evarts of Lee & Associates, for $775,000.

-- Michael Kammerling of Grubb & Ellis represented Core Associates, dba Red Apple Grill, in its 10-year lease of 3,850 square feet at 3051 N. Rainbow Blvd. from Pan Pacific, represented by the company's Michelle Bauer, for $1.1 million.

-- Margie Campobasso of Harsch Investment Properties represented the company in its three-year lease of 800 square feet at 3537 S. Valley View Blvd. to Genuine Enterprises for $60,000. Kellye J. Ray represented Harsch in its three-year lease of 3,258 square feet at 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 1B, to Ask/H2O Technologies and Consulting Inc. for $126,000. Ray also represented Harsch in its five-year lease of 4,522 square feet at 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 6A, to Enclosure Concepts for $216,006.

-- Charles W. Witters and David Flynn of Lee & Associates represented Longford Plaza in the 37-month lease of 3,248 square feet at 3057 E. Warm Springs Road to Mortgage Loan Specialists for $223,429. Witters and Flynn represented Horizon Ridge Business Park in the 63-month lease of 1,104 square feet at 2298 Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 104, to Easy Street Financial Group, represented by Deanna Goyhenetche of Millenium Commercial Real Estate, for $104,544. Shawn Barashy represented both parties in Ed Severance's 60-month, 1,677-square-foot lease at 2600 Dalhart Ave. from Dalhart Investment for $106,836. Stephen Spelman represented Rising Sun Plumbing in its 36-month lease of 6,150 square feet at 121 Corporate Park Drive, Suite 110, from Mary Crest Partners for $174,466.

-- GVA Industrial Property Group's Xavier Wasiak and Kim Friedman represented Donald Lau in the sale of 1.74 acres at 2301 Haren Drive in the Sunpac Industrial Park in Henderson to The Kesgomol Family Trust for $425,000. Art Farmanali represented Mountain America Credit Union in its five-year lease of 2,500 square feet at 4810 W. Desert Inn Road from Syufy Enterprises for $342,300. Dean Willmore represented Green Valley Turf Equipment in its purchase of an 8,400-square-foot building at 6145 S. Annie Oakley Drive from Pinnacle Industrial Properties for $865,000.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Derek Rafie represented Star Living Trust in the purchase of 10 acres at the northeast corner of Interstate 215 and Patrick Lane from Beltway & Patrick for $2.4 million. Keith Spencer represented WGS in the sale of a 2,040-square-foot building at 709 Shadow Lane to Nevada Mutual Insurance Co. for $445,000. Bill Dunbar represented SunMark Centers in the five-year lease of 2,200 square feet at 641 Marks St. to 3 Day Blinds for $305,000. Donna Alderson represented American Land Holdings in its purchase of 48.1 acres near the southeast corner of Carey Avenue and Rancho Drive from Howard Hughes Properties V for $3.4 million.
