KB Home properties host holiday events

KB Home is celebrating the holidays at five neighborhoods with a $2,500 shopping spree, snow, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, choirs, craft demonstrations, and pet adoptions.

Home shoppers can pick up a "passport" at the builder's Mayfield Estates neighborhood in the northwestern valley and travel to other participating neighborhoods on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. After shoppers have their passport stamped at four of the five participating locations, all located off of Alexander Road, they can enter to win a $2,500 gift certificate.

"During their festive house-hunting journey, shoppers will be treated to some wonderful holiday delights," builder executive Leah Bryant said.

The festivities begin with snow, pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, balloon antlers and holiday refreshments at Mayfield Estates.

The neighborhood offers four two-story floor plans, measuring from 2,679 to 3,748 square feet. They are priced from the $200,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, head west to Tenaya Way, go north and then turn left at Alexander Road.

Home shoppers can then visit Goldrush and try their hand at making holiday cards, while the builder's interior designers demonstrate holidays crafts. The neighborhood features 10 floor plans, ranging from 1,098 to 2,312 square feet with prices starting in the $140,000s. To visit, continue west on Alexander Road and follow the signs.

Centennial High School carolers will serenade home shoppers at Lone Mountain Classics, where 10 single- and two-story floor plans are offered. Ranging from 2,616 to 4,035 square feet, the homes are priced from the $270,000s.

At Lone Mountain Heights, the Leavitt Middle School choir will perform holiday songs. The neighborhood offers seven floor plans, ranging from 2,616 to 4,035 square feet and priced from the $230,000s.

Shelter Dog Rescue will host a "Home for the Holidays" dog adoption event at Lone Mountain Ridge. The builder will pitch in for the $40 adoption fee and make a donation to the organization for each dog adopted. The neighborhood features four floor plans, measuring from 1,384 to 2,523 square feet and priced from the high $150,000s.

Lone Mountain Classics is a few blocks west of Goldrush off of Alexander Road, while Lone Mountain Ridge and Heights are farther west, past Jensen Street.

All sales offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at 11 a.m.

The builder's design center is located at 7440 S. Industrial Road, Suite 201. It offers financial assistance through the Homebuyers Club.
