Rancho Las Palmas nears completion



Pardee Homes' Tamarack neighborhood is the final collection of homes in the Rancho Las Palmas community.

"Families have their last chance to choose from ... homes in the popular community of Rancho Las Palmas, located in the heart of the fast-growing area of southeast Las Vegas," sales executive Ray Landry said. "As the 13th neighborhood, Tamarack will complete the Rancho Las Palmas development started by Pardee in 1986."

Priced from $217,450 to $285,450, the neighborhood offers five floor plans with as many as five bedrooms, three baths and three-car tandem garages. The flexible designs include guest suite, bonus room and workshop options. All homes have earned the Energy Star label from the Environmental Protection Agency for exceeding national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent.

The single-story Plan One can measure 1,431 or 1,597 square feet. It features three bedrooms, two baths, an island kitchen and two-car garage. The larger plan offers a fourth bedroom or den.

Plan Two, also a single-story home, measures 1,555 or 1,688 square feet. The design has three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage. Optional configurations include a fourth bedroom, den or master suite in place of the second bedroom.

Measuring 2,046 to 2,442 square feet, the two-story Plan Three offers four bedrooms, or three bedrooms and an optional den, three baths and a two-car garage. A bonus room is included in the larger designs.

The two-story Plan Four measures from 2,241 to 2,503 square feet and offers three to five bedrooms, a studio, loft, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, and a three-car tandem garage.

A second-floor laundry room and linen closet highlight Plan Five. This home features three to five bedrooms with an optional downstairs guest suite, and three baths, as well as loft and bonus room options. Designs range from 2,229 to 2,892 square feet.

The 588-acre community will have about 3,200 homes upon completion. Amenities include an entry monument, elementary school, park, landscaped parkways and shopping center.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane, go west to Bermuda Road, proceed past Pebble Road and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
