Shadow Hills expands in northwest area

Buyers are finding their way to Perma-Bilt Homes' Shadow Hills community in the northwestern valley, where the builder has three neighborhoods: Belle Crest, Timberline and Grandview.

Belle Crest features four floor plans ranging from 1,362 to 2,363 square feet. Prices start from the $140,000s.

Home sites average 6,000 square feet.

"The 50-foot by 110-foot lots give more depth to the back yard and more width on either side of the house, which really appeals to home buyers," said Ruth Ochoa, vice president of sales and marketing for the builder.

"The lots at Belle Crest now have an extra 1,000 square feet, which makes a big difference for families who desire a larger back yard and added privacy, plus the extra square footage provides more room for a swimming pool."

More than 200 homes have been sold since January 1999 at the neighborhood.

At Timberline, select homes are available for move-in by the end of this year, and the builder is offering granite counter tops standard for a limited time. This gated neighborhood offers four floor plans ranging from 2,895 to 3,828 square feet. Prices start from $232,950.

"Timberline's floor plans are designed with a variety of semicustom features, such as options for casitas, home offices, dens and extra bedrooms," Ochoa said.

"In addition, the homes feature distinct exteriors, including some with rock trim, wood shutters and designer wrought iron work, front courtyards, and split garage designs, plus amenities including double ovens, dual-pane windows with white finished frames, and dual-unit air-conditioning systems."

The gated Grandview neighborhood features four single-story plans ranging from 1,763 to 2,460 square feet. Prices start from the $170,000s.

Residents have access to the Shadow Hills Club, a 45,000-square-foot recreational facility with a swimming pool, lap pool, barbecue area, putting green, half basketball court and a clubhouse with big-screen television, saunas, weight room and clubroom.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 north to Cheyenne Avenue and travel west.

Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
