Models centralized at Southern Terrace
Buyers can tour 15 model homes in one location at Southern Terrace, a Perma-Bilt Homes community of four neighborhoods in the southwestern valley. "A trip to Southern Terrace is really a new-home shopping experience," sales and marketing executive Ruth Ochoa said. "Guests arrive at the sales center, where they can pick-up a map of the model complex and head out to tour all 15 models or just those models within their price range. We also offer a café along the way where guests can stop and enjoy refreshments, courtesy of Perma-Bilt Homes." To visit, take Interstate 215 to Russell Road, head west to Fort Apache Road, then turn left. The builder is waiving closing costs for those who purchase a home in the community from today through Dec. 31, 2001. The home must close by March 29, 2002. Southern Terrace Club is under construction and will include a family swimming pool, adult swimming pool, playground, barbecue area, health club, saunas, locker rooms and massage facilities. It is being built on a 2-acre site and scheduled to open in January. A full-time director will serve the club. The builder is also developing a one-mile landscaped trail. The Autumn Hills neighborhood has four floor plans, ranging from 1,563 to 1,953 square feet and priced from the $150,000s. Somerset's homes measure from 1,379 to 2,467 square feet and are also priced from the $150,000s. Features include tandem three-car garages and island kitchens. All homes are single-story designs at Ridgemont, where prices start from the $230,000s. Courtyard entries and split three-car garages are available in these homes, which range from 2,223 to 2,759 square feet. The largest floor plans are available at Monterey, where there are three two-story designs measuring from 2,860 to 3,541 square feet with as many as six bedrooms and four baths. Features include split three-car garages, owner bedroom retreats, courtyard entries, optional bonus rooms, patios, home offices or libraries. Prices start from the low $300,000s. All homes at the community feature the Comfort Wise and Energy Star designations, which can help reduce energy costs by as much as 30 percent, according to the builder. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
