-- The National Association of Home Builders will hold its inaugural International Housing Conference of the Americas, "Emerging Trends & Opportunities in Mexico's Growing Housing Market," Oct. 16 to 18 in Mexico City. Focusing on practical advice and networking for builders and building product suppliers looking to tap the growing Mexican housing market, the conference will be co-located with EXPO CIHAC, Mexico's largest housing and construction-industry trade show, which features more than 500 exhibitors, including more than 70 U.S. companies, and typically attracts about 60,000 visitors.

-- Southwest Engineering has been awarded the engineering and design contract for Park Run Office, Parcel E, located on Park Run Drive west of Hualapai Way. Bormann Development Co. is developing the project, and engineering and surveying costs are estimated at $28,110.

-- Penny Mendlovic of NAI Horizon represented N-One, dba USA Baby Store, in the 10-year lease of 10,075 square feet at 7091 W. Craig Road, Suite 104, from Craig Marketplace, represented by Hillary Stoltz of Great American Capital, for $1.19 million. Rick Dramm represented Nevada Restaurant Services in the 10-year lease of 3,000 square feet at 1350 E. Flamingo Road, Unit 8, from Weingarten Realty Management Co., represented by Deron Conway of Weingarten Realty, for $890,400. Dramm also represented Capri Coffee Franchisees in the five-year lease of 1,050 square feet at Durango Springs Plaza at 3555 S. Durango Drive from Durango Springs for $187,284. David Johnson represented Rodeo Paradise in the five-year lease of 4,000 square feet at 4080 Paradise Road to Gandhi Restaurant for $396,000. Curtis Sanders represented both parties in Silverado Auto Center's five-year lease of 3,167 square feet at 564 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd., Suites 102 and 103, to T and M Automotive for $302,706.

-- GVA Industrial Property Group's Art Farmanali and Richard Luciani represented Bernard Posin in the sale of a 17,125-square-foot multitenant, office/warehouse building at 4214 Bertsos Drive to Launchbaugh Family Trust for $1.25 million. Farmanali and Luciani also represented Walthall Family Trust in the sale of a 12,000-square-foot industrial facility on 5 acres at 9 W. Delhi Ave. in North Las Vegas to South West Ambulance for $1.52 million. Dean Willmore and Jeff Barton represented CFT #1 Trust in the sale of a 9,400-square-foot office/warehouse building at 3063 Sheridan St. to Larry L. Nicoll for $500,000.

-- DeAnna L. Goyhenetche of Millennium Commercial Real Estate Services represented Educational Loan Co. in its 36-month lease of 1,290 square feet at 2225-B Renaissance Drive from Renaissance Partners Limited Partnership, represented by Robin Civish of The Vista Group, for $67,338.

-- Michael Belnick of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented Steven Rabinowitsh in the sale of a 16-unit apartment complex at 3782-3792 Palos Verde St. to Arif I. and Zain Kahn, represented by Carl Johnson of RE/Max Advantage, for $450,000. Belnick represented both parties in Sam Butera's sale of a 40-unit apartment building at 225 Flower Ave. to Property Redux for $1.65 million. In another transaction, E. Thomas Naseef represented Arville & Russell in the sale of 98,324 square feet at 5720-5740 S. Arville Road to Bedford Property Investors for $10.95 million.

-- Colliers International's Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented GKT 4 in its sale of 16.69 acres at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Torrey Pines Drive to Plaster Development Co. for $2.5 million. Paul Hoyt and Jerry Valdez represented Web Service Co. in its sale of 7,010 square feet at 2311 Industrial Road to Morris Properties, represented by Patricia Morris of C21 Advantage Gold, for $550,000. David Grant and Scot Marker represented NovaSource Development in its purchase of 30,000 square feet at the northeast corner of Flamingo Avenue and Arville Street for $500,000. Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Taber Thill represented Sahara Rancho Office Center in its 60-month lease of 12,352 square feet at 2320 S. Rancho Drive, second floor, to High-Tech Institute for $1.48 million. Pat Marsh and Sara Lenn represented Rousso Investments in its 63-month lease of 8,880 square feet at 3915 W. Hacienda Ave., Suite A-117, to Prudential Overall Supply, represented by Barton Hyde of Grubb and Ellis, for $267,469.
