Realtors revamp Web site; advance options

The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors' Web site has been redesigned to include a new look and advanced capabilities to better serve it members, as well as the public.

"This was a much-needed upgrade from where we were," Irene Vogel, executive vice president, said. "The Internet is a constantly changing environment and we felt it was time to make sure (we were) keeping pace with the Web community.

"Obviously, in the past our focus has been to serve the needs of our members. We really wanted to reach out to customers as well, because we all know how daunting the home-buying or selling process can be."

Some of its features include a property search, real estate agent search, up-to-date interest rate information, mortgage calculators, tips on buying and selling a home, and a moving planner.

The site can be accessed at www.lasvegasrealtor.com.

The association, the local representative of the National Association of Realtors, is a professional trade organization for Realtors in the Las Vegas area.
