Help-U-Sell `doubly' assists client
Lynn Fitzpatrick is delighted with the service she received from Help-U-Sell Real Estate Marketing Team. The agency's owners, Paul and Larry May, assisted her in the sale of one residence and the purchase of another. "I had a 2,600-square-foot, two-story home," Fitzpatrick said. "Paul (May) sold it on the second walk-through." Soon after, Larry May located a 1,400-square-foot, two-story townhome that he believed would be ideal for her. "He called and said I had to come with him to see the townhome. I saw its potential immediately. There was a little work to do, but it was worth it. With the vaulted ceilings, it's great for singing," said Fitzpatrick, a former Broadway actress and singer. "The people who were living here needed to move back East quickly. Everything worked out just fine. Because my father was in the Navy, this was my 33rd move. It was definitely one of my easiest moves, most of all thanks to Help-U-Sell." Help-U-Sell is a fee-for-service agency that charges its clients only for the services they use. The agency markets the property, which includes advertising, a lock box and signage. The sellers show their own properties, can conduct open houses and receive full representation. The seller is responsible for paying the buyer's agent's commission. Help-U-Sell opened its first office in Southern Nevada in 2001. It plans to have 22 area offices by next spring, according to a spokesman. All of the company's agents are members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The agents represent clients based on assigned zip codes.
