Coventry buyer winds up working for builder

Joe Pivirotto liked Coventry Homes' developments even before he worked for the company. Pivirotto recently purchased the Camrose model in the Provence neighborhood at Anthem.
"It's ironic that I work for Coventry Homes now," Pivirotto said. "When I bought my first home in Phoenix, it was because I liked the quality and overall feel of the homes. In fact, that's why I bought my second home from Coventry when I moved to Las Vegas."
Pivirotto bought his Phoenix home before joining the company. He moved to Las Vegas as its assistant controller.
Pivirotto and his cocker spaniel, Jazz, have met many neighbors by taking walks in the evenings. "There are a ton of people here with dogs, so we've met a lot of our neighbors."
He said he liked the homes' exteriors and 9-foot ceilings, and that he selected the Camrose model because it fit his lifestyle. The single-story, 1,503-square-foot home can be built with three bedrooms, or two bedrooms and a den, plus two baths and a two-car garage. Pivirotto opted to have a side-entrance garage, which he said adds to the "character" of his home.
Exteriors feature color-coordinated concrete-tile roofs, block walls and front-yard landscaping with irrigation.
Interiors feature ceramic-tile flooring in entries, textured ceilings and rounded corners.
Homes range from 1,503 to 2,311 square feet and are priced from the high $150,000s to the mid-$180,000s.
Anthem is a master plan being developed by Del Webb Corp. in Henderson. Anthem is home to Anthem Country Club and Sun City Anthem, and comprises nearly 5,000 acres.
To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past Lake Mead Drive. The sales center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when it opens at noon.
