Home search ends at Sun City Anthem

Southern California real estate professionals Christine and Bob Noble turned to the computer to search for a retirement community before purchasing a home at Del Webb Corp.'s Sun City Anthem in Henderson.

"I spent several months looking at (developments) around the country, but kept coming back to Anthem. I especially like the lifestyle advantages at Anthem," Christine Noble said. "After we saw the community in person, we stopped looking. We've never regretted our decision. Del Webb is a progressive builder."

The couple, who are the parents of five grown children, purchased the Washington model at the age-qualified community immediately after visiting.

"Within three hours, we had selected a lot, made the down payment and completed the paperwork," she said.

Priced from the high $130,000s to more than $500,000s, the community offers 17 models, ranging from 1,080 to 3,009 square feet and more through the community's Gold Key program.

"Our neighbors are just great. Everyone at Sun City is friendly," Bob Noble said.

One of the many activities that the Nobles enjoy at the community is swimming in its indoor and outdoor pools at Anthem Center. The 75,000-square-foot facility offers fitness, social and recreational opportunities for residents as well as Trumpets Restaurant and Lounge, which is open to the public.

The Nobles are planning to build another home near Anthem's new golf course, scheduled to open next year. The second championship golf course joins the Revere at Anthem, the community's first 18-hole championship golf course created by PGA golfer Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash.

"We've made a commitment to Sun City Anthem," said Christine Noble, who is now employed at Anthem Center. "We are very impressed with Del Webb as a company and as a community. Sun City is everything it seemed."

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway. Models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
