Anthem Country Club offers swinging lifestyle

Anthem Country Club, part of the Anthem master-planned community, draws buyers with its lifestyle amenities, according to sales agents with Del Webb Corp., the developer.

Located in the foothills of southern Henderson, the golf course community includes a guard-gated entry, water features, landscaping, and recreational facilities such as a clubhouse, athletic club and six lighted tennis courts.

"A unique factor of living at Anthem Country Club is the top-of-the-line amenities and activities offered," sales and marketing executive Bob Rademacher said. "We recently hosted a member `meet the pro' event to introduce our head tennis pro, Adolph Huddleston. The event was a complete success with members mingling and meeting their neighbors in the community."

Huddleston has taught tennis in the Las Vegas Valley since 1990.

"I am excited to promote the junior program here and introduce some clinics and development programs," he said. "I will also plan some adult mixers and tournaments as well as coordinate the adult leagues.

"Joining the Anthem Country Club team was a great opportunity to grow with this young community, develop a great tennis program and continue to develop the club's prestige."

The athletic club and salon houses a fitness area; swimming, lap and children's pools; a spa; sand volleyball court; basketball court; aerobics classes; and personal trainers.

Also in the club is a salon and spa offering hair, nail, massage therapy and facial services. The facility also features a children's area for members' use while working out, locker rooms and a poolside café.

The clubhouse features fine dining, a grill, meeting room, board room, member governance offices and a golf shop.

The community's 7,300-yard, par-72 championship golf course offers views of the surrounding valley, and as many as five tees per hole. Equity and executive memberships are available.

Home buyers can choose from four series of homes with 20 floor plans ranging from 1,275 to 5,800 square feet.

Prices start from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Custom home sites are available, featuring separately gated entrances to each neighborhood within the main guard-gated entry.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, to the entrance of Anthem. The sales center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
