Terra West announces promotions



-- Terra West Property Management has announced job promotions for four employees: Joyce Jensen, who has been with the company for two years as an executive corporate assistant, has been named director of human resources; Madeline A. Kerins, who was a single-family residential property manager for the company for more than six years, has been promoted to property manager; Sandra Carter, who has been with the company for one year as a single-family assistant, is now a property manager in the single-family rental division; and Laura Hattaway, who has been with the company for four years, has been promoted to homeowner's association software and compliance coordinator.

-- The Equity Group III announced the completion and grand opening of phase one of Longford Plaza, a San Clemente-style office park near the corner of Warm Springs and Pecos roads. The new office park will consist of 10 single-story buildings totaling more than 86,000 square feet.

-- Restrepo Consulting Group has been retained by JMA Architecture Studios, under its contract with the city of Las Vegas, to provide market research and economic advice relative to the redevelopment of the Las Vegas Downtown Post Office. RCG's work includes a highest-and-best-use study and economic impact analysis of the post office and the effects of its redevelopment on downtown.

-- GVA Industrial Property Group's Dean Willmore and Al Kingham represented both parties in State Farm Insurance Co.'s five-year lease of 6,784 square feet at 7470 S. Industrial Road from Bascal Prop. for $513,489. In another transaction, Bill Walsh represented Geoff Gomes in the five-year lease of 1,050 square feet at 5360 S. Cameron St. to the Ducharme Door Corp. for $51,374.

-- Rodney Harbaugh of Lee and Associates represented both parties in Sushi Trend Co.'s five-year lease of 6,620 square feet at 4460 Arville St. from Premier Prop. for $240,272.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Kevin Higgins represented Lighthouse Products in the 17-month lease of 42,240 square feet at 4601 E. Cheyenne Ave. to Wal-Mart Stores for $110,000.

-- Susie Perrine and Jaynee Shaw of Las Vegas International Realty represented Bill Benbassat in his sale of 5 acres at the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road to Pardee Homes for $550,000.

-- Colliers International's Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented the Star Living Trust in its sale of 3 acres at the northeast corner of Quail Avenue and Schooner Road to American Medicorp for $1.3 million. In another transaction, Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Jayne Cayton represented The Howard Hughes Corp. in its 57-month lease of 2,434 square feet at 3800 Howard Hughes Parkway to Jolly Urga for $367,022. Dan Doherty, Xavier Wasiak and Brian Pankratz represented the Paladin Realty Group in its 39-month lease of 7,680 square feet at 180 Cassia Way, Suites 111 and 112, in Henderson to Peachtree City Foamcraft for $195,757. Doherty, Pankratz and Jennifer English represented Harsch Investment Prop. in its 62-month lease of 2,400 square feet at 950 W. Warm Springs Road, Suite C, in Henderson to the Nevada Bolt Co. for $107,564. Pat Marsh and Sara Lenn represented the EJM Development Co. in its three-year lease of 6,000 square feet at 3950 Diablo Drive, Suite B-10, to Tempe Paint and Decorator Center for $132,612.
