Homes in phase one of Centex Homes new North Las Vegas Berkshire Estates II neighborhood are ready for move-in by October. The first Berkshire Estates subdivision has been completed and sold, according to Centex Homes officials.
The builder is offering buyers incentives of up to $40,000, including free options, closing costs or a pool. The home sites are all at least 6,000 square feet. Most yards feature private gated RV/boat parking with garage service doors as standard features, according to company sales information.

The neighborhood offers bi-level, tri-level and two-story designs.
One home measures 3,170 square feet, and includes up to six bedrooms and three baths. Standard features that are included in the purchase price of the home. Some of these amenities include fireplaces, granite kitchen islands, upgraded Whirlpool Gold appliances, maple cabinetry with roll-out shelves, master bedroom suites with walk-in closets, maple handrails throughout the home and chrome handles and hinges on interior doors. Standard wiring includes phone, cable and ceiling fan prewiring in all rooms.
The homes are also Energy Star certified and include features designed to keep utility bills low. The builder also offers Home Team Pest Defense's patented Tubes in the Wall pest control system.
Outside, there are cobblestone driveways and walkways and the front yard is landscaped.
Centex Homes offers buyers $5,000 off closing costs when they finance their home through CTX Mortgage, its preferred lender.
