After discovering that a second home would be cheaper than renting hotel rooms during weekend jaunts to Las Vegas, Los Angeles resident Eleanor Flores purchased a condominium in the juhl development, which is under construction in downtown Las Vegas.
She learned of the mid-rise project from her younger sister, who is her real estate agent.

"Juhl's architecture is so unique, I knew the minute I saw the model that I needed to be a part of it," Flores said. "We can't wait to see our new vacation home grow from dirt to a diamond."
According to Flores, two of her co-workers in Los Angeles also purchased residences at the mid-rise.
Located at the corner of Bonneville and Fourth streets, juhl is encompassed within the downtown Las Vegas revitalization project which is planned to include the city's 61-acre Union Park, the Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the Frank Gehry-designed Lou Ruvo Alzheimer's Center.
The juhl condominium complex consists of six buildings of varying heights and facades and features more than 100 floor plans, ranging from 616 to 2,500 square feet.
One and two-story designs are available in various units, including live/work, mid-rise and high-rise and warehouse lofts, townhouses, flats and penthouses.
The complex includes a two-story fitness center, a landscaped rooftop courtyard with a 75-foot pool and spa and a ninth-floor viewing deck. Juhl will also provide secured multi-level, hidden parking; 24-hour security and 24,000 square feet of retail space.
To visit from Interstate 15 in Las Vegas, exit Charleston Boulevard and head east. Turn left on Grand Central Parkway then right on Bonneville Avenue. The sales office is at 255 E. Bonneville Ave.
