Loan officer recognizes value at Russell Ranch
Luke Hoffman is one of the first homeowners at Concordia Homes' newest gated development in the southeastern valley, Russell Ranch. "Being associated with the home-building industry I am critical when searching for a new home," said Hoffman, a loan officer who moved to Las Vegas six years ago from Del Mar, Calif. "Russell Ranch gives you more for your money than any other builder in Las Vegas such as prewiring in all bedrooms. All the necessities in the house are included whereas many builders charge extra." Hoffman, who also owns a house at the builder's Classic Collection, said he liked the Plan 225 Laredo model. The 2,077-square-foot, two-story home has three bedrooms including a downstairs master bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, a den, loft, and three-car garage. Prices start in the $190,000s. "What attracted me to Russell Ranch was the location, security and convenience," Hoffman said. The neighborhood offers two other floor plans, priced from the $170,000s to $220,000s. The single-story, 1,626-square-foot Maverick plan offers three bedrooms, or two bedrooms with a den, and a two-car garage. The two-story Santa Fe floor plan measures 2,694 square feet and offers five bedrooms or four bedrooms with optional retreat or den. The home has three baths and a three-car garage. All homes are wired for home theater systems, whole-house audio, satellite television, security systems, intercoms, video surveillance and Internet access. In addition, the homes carry the Energy Star seal from the Environmental Protection Agency for exceeding national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent. Such homes save on heating and cooling costs. Models are at the builder's Classic Collection III neighborhood in Henderson. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue, go south to Coronado Center Drive and go east. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Wednesday, when it opens at noon. Headquartered in Southern Nevada, Concordia Homes has been building homes for 25 years. The builder is also developing Bella Vista, Lone Mountain Vistas and Arbor Glen.
