Sun City Anthem's design staff helps buyers
Finding the right location and selecting a model is just the beginning when it comes to buying a new home. Decisions about the home's interior features must be made, and the staff at Sun City Anthem's Design Center can help streamline the process. "We make it easy to build your dream house," said Len Mirabella, assistant manager of the design center at the age-qualified community in Henderson. The center's staff of 13, including five designers, offer advice in making selections with everything from carpeting and drapes to the handles on kitchen cabinets. Located in the community's sales pavilion, the center showcases lighting fixtures; appliances; cabinets; flooring options including carpet, wood and tile; electrical layouts; plumbing fixtures; interior and exterior paint colors; and window coverings. There are more than 1,400 options available. "We have everything to make the home functional and beautiful," Mirabella said. The design center is part of the builder's "one-stop shopping" concept. In addition to the sales staff, Del Webb Mortgage can arrange financing. "We offer home buyers the convenience of an extensive and supportive design center, as well as Del Webb Mortgage," Jim Bond, sales manager, said. "Since Del Webb Mortgage is located near the sales agents, experienced loan officers are readily available to answer any finance or mortgage question." The community includes the 77,363-square-foot Anthem Center, which offers fitness, social and recreational opportunities for residents, as well as Trumpets Restaurant and Lounge, which is open to the public. There are 19 models, ranging from 1,080 to 3,009 square feet at the community. Homes are priced from the mid-$140,000s to more than $500,000. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left and proceed to Alexandria Drive. Models are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
