KB offers financial assistance through club
When one door closed for Rick and Connie Henderson, the KB Homebuyers Club helped the couple open another to a new home. "If there's anyone out there who doesn't know about the Homebuyers Club, they need to know about it," Rick Henderson said. When the couple began looking for a new home, they had many questions, especially since they had to close their family business due to financial struggles. Free financial advice, including a credit report and credit repair, if necessary, is offered to buyers through the club. "We had been living on credit, which we knew wasn't smart, but we had to survive. The Homebuyers Club was a great tool in making us aware of where our money was actually going and helped us make life-altering changes in our financial habits," Henderson said. "What amazed me most ... was how fast it worked." It took the couple a total of about four months to purchase their home after making the decision on a floor plan and neighborhood. "Everyone at KB is so fantastic and wonderful to work with. They made sure we had anything we needed to make this happen. If we had known about the KB Homebuyers Club when we first started our home search, we wouldn't have looked anywhere else," he said. The couple, who have been married for 34 years, recommended the club's services and amenities to their daughter and her family. The builder's club and its Home Finding Center are located within its 22,000-square-foot design studio located at 7440 S. Industrial Road, Suite 201, just south of Warm Springs Road. One of the largest home builders in the nation, the company operates in some of the fastest-growing areas of the country and offers more than 20 new-home subdivisions in the valley. It also operates a full-service mortgage division.
