Sales steady at Avante's Elk Ridge

Steady sales continue at Avante Homes' gated Elk Ridge neighborhood, where 45 of 251 homes remain available, according to sales agent Laura Skaggs.

"To accommodate the demand, Avante Homes stepped up the construction schedule," Skaggs said. "We are in a unique position to offer our buyers the convenience of being able to move into their new home within as little as 30 to 90 days."

Priced from the low $300,000s, the northwestern valley neighborhood features two collections that offer six designs. Measuring 1,616 to 2,755 square feet, the homes contain as many as seven bedrooms, plus a bonus room and a three-car garage.

Skaggs touted the neighborhood's outdoor environment.

"Our homeowners have the luxury of their own neighborhood park, which is nearly 4 acres and has a well-equipped children's play area," she said.

Skaggs said she expects the neighborhood to close out soon, and mentioned the homes' included upgrades.

"All of our homes are built with such luxuries as upgraded cabinetry, five choices of 12X12 granite counter tops, platinum-finished plumbing fixtures, satin nickel lock sets and brushed steel light fixtures, to name just a few," she said.

The homes feature an energy-efficiency package, which includes low-e windows, radiant barrier sheathing and R-13 exterior wall insulation.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, go east to El Capitan Way, turn north and proceed to O'Hare Road and head west. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
