Pulte instills confidence in buyers

Pulte Homes continues to satisfy Luis and Alma Perez, who recently purchased their fourth home from the builder: a 2,768-square-foot design from the Princeville Collection at the Silverstone Ranch community in the northwestern valley.

Luis Perez said he always wanted to live in a golf course community and appreciated the home's single-story design and detached casita.

"The casita serves a great purpose for us because it's a convenient way to accommodate our guests and family from out of town," he said.

The collection comprises four single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 3,000 to 3,448 square feet. The homes are priced from the $650,000s.

The Perezes' first home from the builder was at its sold out Caravella neighborhood in Summerlin. They also purchased two investment homes in the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

"When we purchased our first home at Caravella, we were immediately impressed with the attention we received from the sales staff and the customer relations department. The service department was always there, even for small requests unrelated to the construction process," Luis Perez said.

When not working in the casino industry, the couple likes to travel with daughters, Demi, 8, and Sabrina, 6.

Five additional home collections, including a gated townhome development, offer homes measuring 1,346 to 2,665 square feet. They are priced from the $370,000s to the $530,000s.

All homes merit the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label and use the Platinum Plus level of the Environments for Living building technology. They offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee. Select communities offer 2X6 construction on exterior livable walls.

Amenities include a 6-acre park, playgrounds and arbors. The townhome development also will have a social center and swimming pool.

The community is built around the fairways of the 27-hole Silverstone Golf Club.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, head east to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Proceed to Buffalo Drive, turn left and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.
