Buyers drawn to GlenEagles

Robert Schwencer and Karen Hinton recently became homeowners at Glen- Eagles, a neighborhood in North Las Vegas. Wexford Homes is the developer.
"We decided that owning a home at GlenEagles was a very sensible alternative to paying rent," said Schwencer, who is employed in the medical supply field.
Prices start from $109,990 at the neighborhood, where single- and two-story homes measure 912 to 2,151 square feet. The floor plans range from two bedrooms and two baths to models with six bedrooms. Three-car garages are available with select plans and all homes offer customizing options.
Available financing includes a program that offers qualified buyers zero-down financing, with a total move-in cost of one percent of the purchase price, according to a spokesperson.
Options include Corian, granite and ceramic-tile counter tops; fireplaces in the family room, living room or owner suite; skylights, custom interior paint, deluxe appliance packages, custom cabinetry, upgraded electrical and plumbing fixture packages, a computer wiring system, home theater system, and an alarm system.
Amenities included in the base price are concrete-tile roofs, lighted entries, front-yard landscaping with irrigation, block-wall fencing and a choice of exterior and interior colors.
Interiors, per plan, feature rounded drywall corners; cabinets in a choice of colors; owner suites with dual-sink vanities, garden tubs and walk-in closets; laundry areas; and prewiring for cable TV and telephones.
The builder also offers a 10-year warranty.
To visit, take Craig Road to Kings Hill Road, which is east of Revere Street. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
