Home buyers' search ends at Seven Hills

Paul Rippens and Jeffrey Hicks searched throughout the southeastern valley before deciding to buy a home at Seven Hills in Henderson.
"We ... considered about 12 neighborhoods, including new and resale homes," said Rippens, an art director for an advertising agency. "Seven Hills was our favorite choice for a number of reasons. It's a quiet and convenient location, the choice of homes is outstanding, and the amenities are second-to-none in the Las Vegas area."
The 1,300-acre community's terraced and elevated terrain was another attraction.
"The elevation provides many pleasant views from various vantage points," said Hicks, owner of an interior design company. "The landscaping is beautiful and we enjoy the many opportunities for outdoor recreation, including the parks and walking trails. We have also enjoyed events held here, such as park openings and a recent concert."
Silver Canyon Partnership is the developer.
Single-family homes range from the $130,000s to floor plans priced from $330,000. Buyers can tour dozens of model homes and choose from more than 45 floor plans. Custom-home sites are also available, and priced from $180,000 to $950,000.
Neighborhoods open for sales are: Renaissance, Riviera, Crescendo and Presidio by Pardee Homes; Palermo West, Capistrano and Naples by Kimball Hill Homes; Villagio by Primack Homes; the Venezia and Terracina custom neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership; and Corcovado Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp. Palazzo Monte by U.S. Home is planned.
More than one-third of the community is open space, and includes parks with tennis and basketball courts, softball and soccer fields and playgrounds.
To visit, take St. Rose Parkway to Seven Hills Drive, which is west of Eastern Avenue, and go south. The sales pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
