Custom-home lots available near Street of Dreams site

     Several custom-home sites in the area adjacent to the Street of Dreams show homes are available at The Estates at Seven Hills custom development. Jack Christie, vice president, said most of the available lots are located on the site that will temporarily serve as the parking area for Street of Dreams, which runs from Sept. 16 through Oct. 29.
      "With pricing from the $180,000s, this release presents a rare value, as it includes lots that are located adjacent to the show and also directly within the show area," Christie said. "The homes sites average about one-third acre in size -- many of them offer spectacular views -- and they will be ready for their future owners to begin construction shortly after the show ends in October."
      The show will be held in the Venezia neighborhood, and will comprise nine homes ranging from 4,400 to 7,400 square feet. The homes are valued from $1.2 million to more than $2.5 million.
      About 250 homes in a series of guard-gated neighborhoods will be built in The Estates, where custom-home sites are priced from the $180,000s.
      Home sites in Venezia range from one-third acre to three-quarters of an acre. At Terracina, lots range from one-quarter acre to one-half acre. Plans for both neighborhoods include parks with tennis and basketball courts and playgrounds.
      To visit, take St. Rose Parkway to Seven Hills Drive, which is west of Eastern Avenue, and go south. The sales pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
