Ex-Chicagoans enjoy Green Valley lifestyle
When Hal and Helene Higgins moved from Chicago to Southern Nevada two years ago, they moved into temporary living quarters while they researched the new-home market.
"After visiting about 15 new neighborhoods, we decided that Green Valley Ranch offered us the best overall combination of features," Hal Higgins said. "Green Valley Ranch is just a beautiful place to live. It is extremely clean and the open space areas are very nicely landscaped and maintained. We always feel proud when guests come to visit, because the design of this community is so inviting and attractive."
Community amenities also played a role in the couple's decision.
"We enjoy walking on the trails, and access to the trail system is just a half-block from our home," Helene Higgins said. "When our six-year-old grandson visits from California, he loves to play at Discovery Park."
