Anthem Center called hub of activity at Sun City

As member services coordinator at Sun City Anthem, Nancy Rutherford oversees member activities in the community's 75,000-square-foot Anthem Center.
"We know everything that is happening in Anthem Center, from Trumpets Restaurant to the fitness center," she said. "Members come here to socialize with friends and try new things. We can help them find a multitude of things they will enjoy.
"(We) can tell them what types of activities are held here, what the restaurant and fitness center are like, how the wellness program works and the different social opportunities that are available."
Anthem Center offers tours to Sun City Anthem guests on a daily basis.
The fitness center offers cardiovascular and weight training equipment as well as an elevated indoor walking track, six-lane lap pool, and outdoor pool.
The center also houses a computer laboratory, meeting rooms, pool tables and social areas. Trumpets Restaurant is open to the public.
Del Webb Corp. is developing Sun City Anthem within its Anthem master plan in Henderson. The age-qualified community is also home to The Revere golf club.
Buyers can tour 15 model homes, which range from 1,080 to 3,009 square feet and more through the developer's Gold Key program. Homes are priced from the high $120,000s to more than $500,000.
To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, about two miles past St. Rose Parkway. Models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
