Exec: Buyers respond to Diamond Creek
Pulte Homes' newest neighborhood, Diamond Creek, has proven popular to buyers in the northwestern valley, according to Joe Whatley, vice president of sales. "Since opening, the response to Diamond Creek has been tremendous. Home buyers who visit Diamond Creek really love the location in the northwest valley, as well as the larger home sites we offer at this community," Whatley said. Five floor plans priced from $156,990 are featured. Three single-story plans are offered, including a 1,418-square-foot plan and a 1,653-square-foot design, both with three bedrooms and two baths or two bedrooms and an optional den; and a 1,695-square-foot home with four bedrooms and two baths, or three bedrooms with an optional expanded owner suite or bonus room. Two-story plans are a 2,172-square-foot design with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths or three bedrooms and a loft option; and a 2,284-square-foot home with five bedrooms and three baths with one bedroom and bath on the first floor, or four bedrooms with an optional expanded family room and 2 1/2 baths. Standard features include microwaves, a structured wiring package, a separate shower and tub in the owner bath (per plan), and pantries. Other highlights include Category 5e telephone and television wiring, front-yard landscaping, covered front porches and/or courtyards (per plan), and prewiring for garage door openers and security systems. The builder guarantees lower heating and cooling bills through its Environments for Living program. By using advanced insulation techniques and efficient equipment and windows, the homes use half the energy for heating and cooling than standard homes, according to the builder. "Another great aspect of this community is the picturesque views of the nearby mountain range," Whatley said. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, go east to Jones Boulevard, and then travel north Elkhorn Road. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at noon. Also in the northwestern valley is Mill Creek, which offers a Lynbrook location and five floor plans, ranging from 2,300 to 3,589 square feet with four to seven bedrooms. Prices begin at $202,990. Today is the final day to register for the Pulte Dream Homes Sweepstakes, which can be done at any of the builder's neighborhoods. One grand prize winner will have the opportunity to select a home of their choice ($250,000 toward a home) from any of Pulte's more than 400 developments nationwide. The winner will be announced in late September.
