Seven Hills Builders sponsor free concert

The Seven Hills community in Henderson will host a free outdoor concert featuring The Fab on Saturday from 8 to 10 p.m. at Sonata Park, 1550 Seven Hills Drive.

Paying tribute to The Beatles, the band's repertoire ranges from the acoustic sounds of "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude," to the high-energy rock 'n' roll of "Twist and Shout" and "She Loves You," to the more progressive sounds of "Magical Mystery Tour," "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever."

The Fab has appeared on television and shared the concert stage with such legendary groups as The Animals, The Drifters, The Lovin' Spoonful and Electric Light Orchestra.

Sponsors are the Seven Hills Builders and the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. Attendees are invited to bring blankets and picnic baskets, and refreshments will be available for sale.

Free shuttle bus service will be available from Elise L. Wolff Elementary School, the community's information pavilion, and other city parks within the community.

To reach Sonata Park, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue, go south to St. Rose Parkway and travel west about three-quarters of a mile to the Seven Hills entrance.

Plans for the 1,300-acre Seven Hills community, developed by Silver Canyon Partnership, include more than 3,000 homes, including about 300 custom homes; 25 neighborhoods; city and neighborhood parks; landscaped open space; and miles of trails and walkways.

Dozens of model homes and more than 45 floor plans are available, priced from the $140,000s to about $350,000. Custom-home sites are priced from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Neighborhoods open for sales are Renaissance and Crescendo by Pardee Homes; Naples by Kimball Hill Homes; Palazzo Monte by U.S. Home; Meridiana by Trident Homes; the Venezia and Terracina custom neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership; and Corcovado and Portofino Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp. Villa Villagio by Astoria Homes is planned.

The information pavilion is located just inside the community on Seven Hills Drive. The pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
