CARTOON CANINE: Clifford to visit KB Home sitesSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Clifford, The Big Red Dog, a cartoon favorite of children across the country, will visit several KB Home developments over a six-week period beginning next Saturday, according to representatives for the home-building company. Visitors at select neighborhoods by the builder will receive a Clifford, The Big Red Dog book. Participating neighborhoods include: Iron Mountain Ranch, Lone Mountain Heights, Bella Terra, Granite Peaks, Goldrush and Liberty at the Orchards. Clifford will be on-hand on Sept. 7 and 8 at Iron Mountain Ranch to celebrate the grand opening of the Mesa series models. The canine is scheduled to make a Sept. 28 and 29 visit at Liberty at the Orchards for its grand opening. Iron Mountain Ranch offers 11 models and 27 floor plans, ranging from 1,098 to 3,633 square feet. The floor plans include one- and two-story homes with two to seven bedrooms, two to four baths, and two- or three-car car garages. Four models to be built will showcase the Mesa Series. Prices start from the $130,000s to $230,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, then go north to Farm Road. Liberty at the Orchards offers eight one- and two-story floor plans ranging from 692 to 1,486 square feet. Homes offer two to four bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, and one-car garages. Prices range from the high $90,000s to the mid-$120,000s. To visit, take Charleston Boulevard east, past Nellis Boulevard, to Tree Line Drive and turn left, and then make a right into the community. Lone Mountain Heights has four models and offers nine floor plans, ranging from 2,022 to 4,035 square feet. The one- and two story floor plans feature three to seven bedrooms, two or three baths, and two- or three-car garages. Prices start from the $200,000s to $260,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, head west to Durango Drive, go north to Alexander Road, head west, past Jensen Street, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Cheyenne, head east to Grand Canyon Drive, go north to Alexander Road and follow the signs. Bella Terra offers six models and 13 floor plans, ranging from 1,151 to 2,972 square feet. The one- and two-story homes offer two to six bedrooms, two to four baths, and two- or three-car garages. Prices start from the $130,000s to the $200,000s. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Blue Diamond Road, head west to Industrial Road, go south to Cactus Road, drive west to Valley View Boulevard and follow the signs. Granite Peaks has three models and offers six floor plans, ranging from 1,717 to 2,550 square feet. The one- and two-story homes offer two to five bedrooms, two or three baths, and two- or three-car garages. Prices start from the $180,000s to the $210,000s. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Town Center Drive and head north. Head west at Desert Inn Road and turn left on Ridge Hollow Drive. Goldrush offers six one- and two-story floor plans, four of them modeled, ranging from 1,098 to 2,312 square feet. The floor plans offer two to five bedrooms, at least 2 1/2 baths, and two-car garages. Prices start from the $130,000s to the $170,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, go west and then travel north on Durango Drive for about a mile. Or, take Interstate 215 to Cheyenne Avenue, and head east to Durango Drive. Office hours at all of the builder's neighborhoods are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at 11 a.m. KB Home offers the Homebuyers Club and the Home Finding Center.
