Aliante suits Del Webb employees
Del Webb employees Steve and Jacquie Loeffler were familiar with the Aliante community, and became one of the first to buy a home within the builder's Club Aliante neighborhood in North Las Vegas. "We watched how beautifully Del Webb's Anthem Country Club developed in Henderson and that made us eager to be among the first to purchase a home at Club Aliante," said Steve Loeffler, a construction superintendent at Sun City Aliante. "We are also highly familiar with the level of quality and energy efficiency built into every Del Webb home, which made our decision easy." The Loefflers chose the Mesa Rose design. The single-story home features three bedrooms, three baths, a den, an optional fourth bedroom and measures 2,714 square feet. Other highlights include formal living and dining rooms, a family room, kitchen nook, covered back patio and a three-car garage. "We love the courtyard entry and the open feel of our home," Jacquie Loeffler said. "We were also pleased to be able to select a home site that is located directly along the golf course, which will give us beautiful fairway views." The couple, who plan to move into their home in early 2005, also liked the community's recreational amenities, such as the parks and trails, as well as the recreation center, which includes tennis courts, a fitness facility and a swimming pool. The 1,905-acre community features all-ages and age-qualified villages. In addition to Del Webb, builders in the all-ages village are Astoria Homes, KB Home, D.R. Horton, Meritage Homes, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes and US Home. Del Webb also is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante. Homes are priced from the low $200,000s to the $700,000s. Nearly one-fourth of the community is designated for recreational and public purposes, including a municipal golf course, parks, more than 20 miles of trails and an arroyo. Plans also call for three schools and about 100 acres of commercial development including retail and business centers, as well as a 40-acre resort with gaming. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south. An information center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. North Valley Enterprises is an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb.
