Couple tout services of Help-U-Sell
Jim Wren sold his three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home in Las Vegas with the assistance of the staff at Help-U-Sell Innovations. Now Wren is prepared to move his wife, Heather, and daughter, Amber, to Missouri. "Help-U-Sell treated us fine," Wren said. "We were able to sell (our home) for a lower commission. Because of that, we were able to sell it for a lesser price. This gives you more area for negotiations. It took us about three weeks to sell." Help-U-Sell is a fee-for-service agency that charges its clients only for the services they use. The agency markets the property, which includes advertising, a lock box and signage. The sellers show their own properties, can conduct open houses and receive full representation. The seller is responsible for paying the buyer's agent's commission. Heather Wren praised the company's representatives, particularly the broker. "(She) explained everything to us through the negotiation process. She was extremely thorough (and) helped us save money." Help-U-Sell opened its first office in Southern Nevada in 2001. It plans to have 22 area offices by next spring, according to a spokesman. All of the company's agents are members of the Nevada Association of Realtors and the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The agents represent clients within assigned zip codes.
