     Former Colorado resident Beverly Strouse says the lifestyle she found at Canyon Willow Tropicana suits her perfectly.
      "I don't miss the snow and cold at all," she said during her daily workout in the development's fitness center. "The Las Vegas climate and the lifestyle here at Canyon Willow are a very pleasant change from our former home in Colorado Springs.       Beverly Strouse and her husband Greg began looking for a home in Las Vegas last February.

"When we found Canyon Willow, we knew this was the right place for us. The floor plans were very appealing and the community amenities were just what we had in mind. We felt it was a very good value for the money."
      Canyon Willow Builders Trop LLC is the builder of this gated complex. Floor plans range from a one-bedroom, one-bath plan to a home with as many as three bedrooms and two baths. They measure 695 to 1,228 square feet.
      Prices range from the $60,000s to the $90,000s. Opportunities for move-ins within 30-days are available on select models. Qualified buyers may have a total move-in cost of $845 and a monthly payment of $783.
      "Most of our homeowners are ... adults who appreciate maintenance-free living and tend to take advantage of all the community amenities we offer," sales agent Lori Resko-Garcia said. "The pool and spa area provides a beautiful, centralized focal point, with homes situated around it to maximize views."
      Interiors feature ceramic-tile entries, prewiring for ceiling fans in the bedrooms and dining room, cultured-marble bath counter tops and separate tubs and showers in owner suites.
      All homes include window coverings, an appliance package and a patio or balcony.
      To visit, take Tropicana Avenue east, past Boulder Highway, then follow the signs. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
