Anthem Country Club opens Baroque Collection of homes

     Anthem Country Club, Del Webb Corp.'s country club community in Henderson, is releasing home sites this weekend for its Baroque Collection, which has been in great demand, according to senior sales manager Steve Quaranta.
      "The Baroque Collection is a popular series of homes and are great for families of all ages, so this new home site release, Spindletop, is heavily anticipated," Quaranta said.
      The collection offers floor plans ranging from 1,922 to 3,809 square feet. Options include two to five bedrooms, formal or great rooms, dens, second stories, basements and casitas.
      Prices range from $233,000 to $410,000.
      "Besides the privacy and security our community offers, our clients love the many options we offer that allow them to achieve a customized look to their home, like the casitas and basements," Quaranta said.
      At the design studio, designers assist buyers in selecting options such as interior colors, floor coverings, counter tops, cabinets, light fixtures, appliances, landscaping and window coverings.
      Community amenities include a 13,700-square-foot recreational facility offering exercise equipment, an aerobics studio, pools, a spa, and sand volleyball and tennis courts.
      The salon will offer hair, nail, massage therapy and facial services. Other amenities will include a day care, locker rooms and a poolside cafe.
      A trail system links the neighborhoods to The Commons, a 4-acre park with event lawns and an amphitheater.
      The 7,300-yard, par-72 golf course was designed by course architect Keith Foster and PGA golfer Hale Irwin and uses the mountain terrain. Equity and recallable golf memberships are available.
      A 33,000-square-foot clubhouse will include a dining room, meeting room, grill room and sports bar, administrative offices, a golf pro shop, and locker rooms with lounge areas.
      Custom-home sites are available, with many sites adjacent to the golf course, trails or open areas.
      Three other sets of home designs are offered.
      The Impressionist Collection's floor plans range from 1,281 to 1,953 square feet and are priced from $163,000 to $217,000.
      Homes in the Romantic Collection range from 2,721 to 5,095 square feet and are priced from $324,000 to $503,500.
      The Renaissance Collection offers floor plans from 3,184 to 5,626 square feet with prices ranging from $393,000 to $606,500.
      Anthem Country Club will cover about 1,000 acres of the nearly 5,000-acre Anthem master-planned community.
      To visit any of the neighborhoods or country club, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past Lake Mead Drive. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
