Green Valley Ranch buyers get familiar
Homeowners at The Estates at Green Valley Ranch recently enjoyed a "get to know your neighbors" party.
Dan Naef, vice president of community development for the American Nevada Corp., said the party provided a venue for homeowners and home-site owners to share their enthusiasm for the neighborhood, where most of the 88 home sites have been sold.
"A gathering like this is enjoyable for us, as our homeowners truly enjoy living here at The Estates," Naef said. "It's very gratifying to hear neighbors share their enthusiasm for all that this unique neighborhood offers. Along with a prime, master-planned location, residents also have the advantage of their own guard-gated entrance, a private neighborhood park and a number of other amenities that are in high demand among people interested in building a custom home."
The event was sponsored by American Nevada Corp. and Bob and Loren Sweeney, who are home-site owners and Realtors.
Home sites are priced from $99,000 to $152,000 and range from a one-quarter acre to half an acre.
The paver-stone entrance to the neighborhood features landscaping and a guardhouse with a fountain. A neighborhood park features a tennis court, half basketball court, playground, and picnic area with a shade structure.
The information center for the community is on Green Valley Parkway, just south of Lake Mead Drive. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Housing in Green Valley Ranch includes gated townhome developments, single-family homes and custom-home sites.
Neighborhoods open for sales are: The Cottages by Kimball Hill Homes; Mystic Bay and Castle Rock Estates by Richmond American Homes; Carriage Lane and Mountain Pointe II Townhomes by U.S. Home; Fontana d'or by Coleman Homes; Pacific Trace by Pacific Homes; Copper Ridge and Summit Point by Pardee Homes; and Meritage by Capital Pacific Homes.
Construction is under way for the third city park in Green Valley Ranch.
