Low down payment program class slated
A free class on how to buy a home with low- and no-down payment programs will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the offices of Prudential Americana, 2625 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson.

The local chapter of the Associated General Contractors will hold its monthly membership meeting at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 24 in the Alexis Park Resort, 375 E. Harmon Ave.
Guest speaker will be U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley.

Association manager certification class set
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Nevada Real Estate Division will hold a homeowners association Manager's Certification Course Aug. 27 and 28 on the university campus.
The guest speaker, attorney Wilbert Washington II, will address how the Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act affect community associations, from 8:15 to 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 27.
The course will offer certification credits for managers and continuing education credits for real estate licensees, 14 hours of instruction over two days.
Participants may attend any one or all four segments of the course for a total registration fee of $79.
