Turnberry Place bumps up sales pace

Sales at Turnberry Place, a high-rise residential project, are exceeding expectations, according to John Riordan, vice president of sales.
The development is attracting both local and out-of-town residents.
"Turnberry Place has sold more residences in six months than projected for the entire year, and sales on the second tower will begin in September or October, 12 months ahead of schedule," Riordan said.
Ten floor plans are available in the first tower, ranging from 1,550 to 7,500 square feet with two to four bedrooms. Homes are priced from $355,000 to more than $3.5 million.
During a computer-generated tour led by a video host, buyers will see kitchens adorned with walnut cabinets and appliances; and an owner bath featuring marble flooring, vanity cabinets, spa tubs and marble-walled showers.
Other features include 9-foot ceilings, elevator foyers and a variety of views.
The 15-acre development will offer a 60,000-square-foot club. It will include a 30,000-square-foot spa with wet and dry massage salons, a fitness center, a lounge with a piano bar, casual and formal dining, a billiard room, card rooms, tennis courts, a business center, library, beauty salon, spas, saunas and steam baths, indoor and outdoor pools with cabanas, a pool bar and convenience store.
Other features include 24-hour security and valet service, room and concierge service, a gated entry, and porter and limousine service.
The development is on Paradise Road, north of Desert Inn Road. The sales office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and opens at 9 a.m. on weekends.
