Sales continue for last Residences tower

Sales are under way for the third and final tower at The Residences at MGM Grand, a condominium-hotel development being built on the northeast corner of the resort's 116-acre property.

The 40-story, 576-unit tower will offer fully furnished studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom combination suites. They range from 600 to 1,600 square feet and are priced from $450,000 to more than $2 million.

Amenities will include crown molding, raised-panel doors, bedroom carpet, high-speed voice/data connectivity, granite counter tops, Italian kitchen cabinetry, and private owners' closets. The units also will have upgraded appliances, spa tubs and flat screen HDTVs.

Buyers will have access to the resort's amenities, including 6.5 acres of pools and a spa with 30 treatment rooms.

The project's first two towers are under construction, with the first set for completion in June 2006. Both are nearly sold out.

A furnished two-bedroom model is available for viewing at the sales office in MGM Grand's Studio Walk, located at 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The project is a joint venture between South Florida-based Turnberry Associates and MGM Grand.
