Buyer treasures mood at Anthem Highlands
Mike Silva found the peace and quiet he was looking for when he moved into the Dunbar Collection at Anthem Highlands, a Pulte Homes community in Henderson. "I wanted a place with a consistent family atmosphere for my two children, Zachary and Madison, and Anthem Highlands is very stable," he said. Silva, who works for a mortgage lender, selected the 1923 plan with the optional loft and upstairs laundry room, increasing the home's size to more than 2,000 square feet. "Our home overlooks a great park with two double baseball fields, a basketball court and a dog park," he said. Silva said the community's friendliness was confirmed as they were moving into their new home. "One of our neighbors brought over a pie and even helped unload the truck on move-in day." The collection offers three two-story designs, measuring from 1,629 to 1,923 square feet and priced from the $460,000s. Four additional collections offer single- and two-story designs ranging from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet. They are priced from the $440,000s to the $670,000s. All homes within the community incorporate the Platinum Plus level of Environments for Living building technology. They exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star requirements and offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee. Select communities offer 2X6 construction on exterior liveable walls. Upon completion, the 400-acre community will comprise about 1,500 homes. Nearby recreational amenities include The Revere at Anthem Golf Club, which features two 18-hole championship courses. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when the sales office and models open at noon. Based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., the builder operates in more than 40 markets nationwide and offers 20 new-home subdivisions in the valley including Amber Ridge at Mission Hills in Henderson; Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwest; Serenata, Treviso, Pavona and Salerno in Aliante; and Miramonte, Escala, Palomar and Cordova in Summerlin. Its Del Webb brand is a leading builder of age-qualified communities. Over its history, the company has built more than 370,000 homes. It also operates a mortgage division.
