Pulte Homes adds `fun' to fund-raiser at Silverstone Ranch
Residents of Pulte Homes' Silverstone Ranch community in the northwestern valley gathered recently for an evening of fun and fund raising. Hosted by the builder, its contractor partners and Silverstone Golf Club, the festivities included refreshments, entertainment, a display of hot rods, games for children, a drawing for a trip for four to Disneyland and other prizes. "We wanted to show our appreciation to our residents who make this community such a special place to live in, while benefiting a worthwhile nonprofit organization, the American Cancer Society," said Nikki Bennecoff, customer relations manager and event coordinator. The event raised $1,600 for the agency, in addition to a $1,000 donation from the builder. Built around the 27-hole Silverstone Golf Club, the community offers 23 floor plans in six home collections, including a townhome development. The Pinehurst Collection is a gated development of townhomes. Four designs are available, ranging from 1,346 to 2,016 square feet and priced from the $370,000s. Three two-story homes measuring 1,583 to 1,890 square feet are featured in the Merion Collection. Prices start from the $390,000s. The Oakmont Collection offers four single-story floor plans, ranging from 1,520 to 1,881 square feet and priced from the low $400,000s. One single-story design and three two-story plans are offered in the Cypress Collections. Residences measure 1,881 to 2,665 square feet and are priced from the high $490,000s. Single-story designs are showcased in the guard-gated Augusta Collection. Its homes range from 1,913 to 2,616 square feet and are priced from the $530,000s. The Princeville Collection, which is also guard gated, has four single- and two-story designs measuring 3,000 to 3,448 square feet. Prices start from the $650,000s. All homes within the community exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program requirements and incorporate the Platinum Plus level of Environments for Living building technology. They offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee. Select communities offer 2X6 construction on exterior liveable walls. Homeowners receive a discount on membership at the golf club, which features three nines and a clubhouse with a restaurant, banquet facilities, learning center, locker rooms, pro shop and practice facilities. Additional amenities include a 6-acre park, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds and arbors. The townhome development is planned to include a recreation center with a swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, putting green, parks and barbecue areas. It is set to open by fall. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive exit, head east to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Proceed to Buffalo Drive, turn left and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon. The builder, based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., operates in more than 40 markets nationwide and offers 20 new-home subdivisions in the valley. Its Del Webb brand is a leading builder of age-qualified communities. In addition, it operates a mortgage division.
